CM 2/C William D. Ragsdale, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Ragsdale, Barry.  Wife is the former Marie Smith.  Entered the Navy in 1942, training at Norfolk, Hueneme, Natchitoches, La., and Athens, Ga.  Served at Pearl Harbor, and Hawaii.  Now training at Naval Aviator at Memphis, Tenn.
RAMSEY, LOWELL C.
S 2/C Lowell C. Ramsey, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Ramsey, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered the Navy Dec. 6, 1944, training at San Diego, Camp Elliott, Port Hueneme and Shoemaker, Calif.  Is now on duty in the Hawaiian Islands.
RANDLE, J. P.
Sgt. J. P. Randle, grandson of Mrs. Jane Bennett, Wortham.  Attended Dallas Schools.  Entered service, 1941.  Trained in the Army at Camp Bowie, Brownwood.  Was killed in action July 17, 1944 in Germany.
RASH, MILTON D.
BM 2/C Milton D. Rash, son of Mrs. Bennie Rash, attended Mildred High School.  Entered service in 1942.  Trained with Navy at San Diego and in Honolulu.  Is now on duty in Honolulu.

Cpl. J. D. Ratliff, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Ratliff, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered the Air Corps in 1943 and trained at Camps in Texas, Wyoming, California, Mississippi, and Nebraska.  Is now on duty at March Field, Calif.  Has honors for expert rifle, pistol, and Martin Turret Gunner.
RATLIFF, BOBBY G.
S 1/C Bobby G. Ratliff, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Ratliff, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered the Navy April, 1944, training at San Pedro, Calif. and served at Pearl Harbor.  Is now at sea aboard L.C. 531 (FF).

T/3 George H Rawson, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Rawson, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1940, trained with Army at San Antonio.  Has served in England, France, Belgium, and Germany, discharged, 1945.  Has Good Conduct Medal.

PH M 3/C Cecil A. Ray, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Ray, graduate of Barry High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Navy at Great Lakes Naval Training Station.  Now in Pacific on U.S.S. Griffin.
RAY, HARVEY E.
Harvey E. Ray, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Ray, Corsicana, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1945, trained with Merchant Marines at Avalon, California.  Has served in Philippine Islands, New Guinea and the Hawaiian Islands, now on duty aboard ship in Pacific.

Pfc. Floyd D. Ray, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Ray, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Mary Hazel Carr.  Attended Arkansas Schools.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Army at Camp Maxey.  Has served in Germany and France, where now on duty.  Has 2 battle Stars.
RAY, WILLIE MAE
1st Lt. Willie Mae Ray, daughter of Mrs. Mary Ray, Barry.  Entered the Nurses Corps in 1943, trained at Camp Howze, Texas, Camp Rucker, Ala., Camp Blanding, Fla., and Memphis, Tenn. Has served in England and France, where now on duty.
RAY, KENNETH L.
Coxswain Kenneth L. Ray, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. T. Ray, Corsicana, graduate of Powell High School.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Navy at San Diego, California.  Has served in Hawaii, Guam, Saipan, and Okinawa, now on duty in San Diego.  Has Presidential Citation.

S. F. 2/C Charles G. Ray, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Ray, husband of the former Miss Marguerite Maggard, attended school at Emhouse.  Enlisted in the Seabees in 1942, trained at Camp Bradford, Va.  Has served in Kokiak, the Aleutians, and Okinawa.
