THOMPSON, WILLIAM R.
S 1/C William R. Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy F. Thompson, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Julia Elsie Newcomb, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Navy at Camp Wallace.  Now on duty in South Pacific aboard U.S.S. "Shangri-La."

EM 2/C Chester L. Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Thompson, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Coast Guard at Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. in Attu, Dutch Harbor, spend 14 months aboard U.S.S. Albuquerque in North Atlantic.
