Pfc. Coy E. Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alva Taylor, Corsicana, attended Corsicaha High School. Entered service, 1938, trained with 7th Cavalry at Ft. Bliss. Has served in New Guinea, now on duty at General Hospital in Australia. Has expert Rifleman's Badge.

Lt. Olin A. Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alva Taylor, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Francis Hunt, graduate of Corsicana High School. Entered service with National Guard, 1941, trained at Camp Bowie, Camp Edwards, Ft. Sill and Camp Blanding. Wounded, 1944 at Ft. Sill and discharged. Has Expert Marksmanship.

Pvt. Johnnie B. Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Taylor, husband of the former Miss Lizzie Mae Slaughter, attended Bryan High School.  Trained with Army Air Corps at Sheppard Field, where now on duty.
TAYLOR, JAMES E., JR.
Pfc. James E. Taylor, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Taylor, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Virginia Ellis, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Paratroopers at Ft. Benning, Ga.  Has served in Philippines, and now on duty somewhere in the South Pacific.
TAYLOR, GIDEON
Pfc. Gideon Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Taylor, Corsicana, attended Corsicana Public Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Marines at Camp Elliott, Calif.  Has served in Solomon Islands, New Zealand, wounded on Guadalcanal, 1942, discharged.  Has Purple Heart.  Husband of the former Miss Jewell Traw.
TEAKELL, WARDEAN
S.S. M.B. 3/C Wardean Teakell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Teakell, Hubbard, husband of the former Miss Mary Edna Slaughter, attended Hubbard schools. Entered service, 1944, trained with Navy Air Corps at San Diego. Now on duty in Camp Kearney, Calif.
TEKELL, BILLIE BOB
 1/C Billie Bob, Tekell, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Tekell, Kerens, Texas. Enlisted in the Navy Feb. 12, 1943, trained at U.S.N.T.S. San Diego, Calif. Has served 2 years on board refrigerator ship in South Pacific. Now on duty at San Diego for reassignment.

Sg. Wilson C. Tekell, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Tekell, Kerens, Texas. Mobilized with Texas Natl. Guard 1940, trained at Camp Bowie, Tex, Camp Edwards Mass. Has served 28 Mo in N. African-E.T.O. Campaignns, discharged July 1945. Awarded E.A.M.E. Medal with 5 Bronze Stars and 1 Bronze Arrowhead, A.D.S. Medal and Good Conduct Ribbon.

Entered service 1941, trained with Infantry and Air Corps at Camp Roberts, and Panama Canal. Has served in Australia and South-Pacific Islands, now on duty at Scott Field, Ill. Has Combat Infantry, Badge, 3 Battle Stars and six overseas bars.

Served with 8th Air Force in England, Germany and North Africa. Has European Theater and Good Conduct Ribbons. Now at Casablanca, N. Africa.

King. Wife, the former Cleto Smith.
THOMAS, HARVEY J.
Pfc. Harvey J. Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wade Thomas, Kerens.  Wife, the former Geneva Spurlock.  Graduate of Purdon High School.  Entered service in 1944, training with the Marines at Camp J. H. Pendleton, S.C. and Camp LeJeune, N.C.  Served in Hawaii and is now in Pacific.

S 2/C C. E. Thomas, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Thomas, Purdon.  Attended Purdon High School.  Entered the Navy Jan 10, 1945.  Trained at San Diego, Calif., Williamsburg, Va., New York, N.Y.  Now enroute to Pacific.

T/5 Colon Thomas, son of Mr. L. M. Thomas, Corsicana.  Attended Pickett Schools.  Entered service 1941.  Trained with the 3rd Armored Division in La., Ga., and Calif.  Served in England, Italy, France, and is now on duty in Germany.

Cpl. James A. Thompson, son of Mr. F. J. Thompson.  Wife, the former Lucille Britton.  Attended Dresden Schools.  Entered service, 1941, training in the Army at Camp Bowie and served in N. Africa.  Now on duty at Camp Upton, N.Y.  Has Good Conduct Medal and Bronze Star.
THOMPSON, FAIRACE A.
Cpl. Fairace A. Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Thompson, Blooming Grove.  Entered service, 1942, training in the Air Corps as Mechanic at Waco, San Marcos, Lockheed, Barksdale Field.  Has Good Conduct Medal and Sharpshooters Medal.
