Tanner, Dawson, husband of the former Miss Modell Wells, attended Dawson High School.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Army at Camp Fannin.  Has served in England, France, Italy, now on duty in Germany.  Has Good Conduct Medal, and Infantry Badge.

TARKINGTON, BOOTH
1st Lt. Booth Tarkington, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Tarkington, Kerens, husband of the former Miss Frances Gragg, Mobilized with Texas Natl. Guard, 1940.  Entered 94th Field Artillery, trained at Camp Bowie Texas, O.C.S. at Ft. Sill, Okla., and other camps in U.S.  Has served in French-German Campaigns, and in England.  Killed in Germany, Jan., 1945, awarded to his family the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.

Fisher, Va. and various other camps in U.S.  Has served in England, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany where now on duty.  Wears the Good Conduct Medal.

Lt. William M. Taylor, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Taylor, graduated from Corsicana High School and A&M College.  Entered the Air Corps in 1941, training at Albuquerque, N.M.  Served in Pacific Theater.  Killed in action somewhere in the Pacific Sept. 7, 1944.  Has the Purple Heart.
