SWAIN, WILLIAM G.
BKR 1/C William G. Swain, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Swain, husband of the former Miss Florence Warner, attended Dallas Public Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Navy at Corpus Christi.  Now serving in the South Pacific.
SWINK, JOHN B.
S/Sgt. John B. Swink, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Taylor, husband of the former Miss Margaret.  Dougherty, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered the Air Corps, 1942, trained at Luke Field, Ariz., later transferred to the Infantry.  Now on duty at Camp Maxey, Texas.

SYKES, WINDELL W.
T/4 Windel W. Sykes, son of Mrs. Rachel Sykes, graduate of Dawson.  Entered service, 1940, trained with Army at Fort Sam Houston.  Sent overseas, 1943, served in Iran, Persia, returned to states, 1945.  Now on duty at Ft. Jackson, S.C.
SZENASI, NICHOLAS M.
S/Sgt. Nicholas M. Szenasi, nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Szenasi, attended Petty's Chapel School.  Entered Army, 1943, trained at Camp Ellis, Ill. and Georgia.  Has served in England, France, Belgium and now on duty at Frankfurt, Germany.
SZENASY, SAMMY A.
F 2/C Sammy A. Szenasy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Szenasy, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1944, trained at San Diego.  Has served on Admiralty Island, now on duty in Pacific Area.
TACKETT, ARCHIE L.
Pfc. Archie L. Tackett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Tackett, Corsicana, attended school in Corsicana.  Entered the Army, 1940, trained at Camp Bowie.  Has served in India and Burma.  has three Battle Stars.  Honorably discharged in 1945.

Pvt. Thomas H. Tackett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Tackett, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Army at Camp Warren, Wyoming.  Given Medical discharge, 1943.

T/5 Ernest L. Tackett, son of Mr. W. T. Tackett, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Margaret Odessa Lee, attended school in Corsicana.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Eng. Combat at Camp Wolters, and Camp Bowie.  Has served in England, France and Germany.  Now enroute to the Pacific Theater.
TACKETT, NORMAN L.
S 2/C Norman L. Tackett, son of Mrs. Ethel Tackett, Corsicana, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Navy at San Diego and Seattle.  Has served in Iwo Jima, Saipan, and other Islands in the Pacific.  Received Medical Discharge, 1945.
TACKET, GARLAND O.
Pfc. Garland O. Tackett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Tackett, Corsicana.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Army at Camp Callen, Calif., Camp Maxey, Texas and various other camps in U.S.  Has served in France, Germany and Belgium, now on duty in Germany.

S 1/C Vernon G. Tallant, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Tallant, Ennis.  Attended Emhouse Schools.  Entered service, 1944, training in the Navy at Camp Wallace.  Served in Hawaii and in So. West Pacific.
TALLANT, WILLIAM M.
Cpl. William M. Tallant, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Tallant, Ennis.  Attended Emhouse Schools.  Entered service, 1942, training with 112th Cavalry at Ft. Riley, Kan.  Served in Southwest Pacific.  Now on duty at Manila.  Has Combat Inf. Badge, Good Conduct Medal.
TALLANT, JAMES R.
Cpl. James R. Tallant, son of Mrs. J. F. Tallant, Corsicana.  Graduate of Dawson Schools.  Entered service, 1943, training in the Army at Camp Wallace.  Served with AAA Gun Battalion in England, France, Belgium, Holland and is now serving in Germany.
TALKINGTON, WILLIAM H., JR.
Pvt. William H. Talkington, Jr., son of Mr. W. H. Talkington, Corsicana.  Wife, the former Frances Nokes. Attended Ferris High School.  Entered service 1944, training with Field Art. in the Air Corps at Ft. Sill and Keesler Field.  Discharged, 1946.
TALLEY, RAY R.
Pfc. Ray R. Talley, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Talley, Calif.  Wife, the former Noma Ivie.  Attended school at Oak Valley.  Entered the Air Corps in 1942, training at fields in Texas, Arkansas, Indiana and Florida, where he is now on duty.

T/5 Glenn W. Tally, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Tally.  Graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1943, training in the Army at Camp Butner and Camp Rucker.  Served in England, France, Belgium and Germany.  Wounded in action 1944.  Has the Purple Heart.

Cpl.  A. D. Tally, son of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Tally, Corsicana.  Attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1943, training in Army Engineers at Ft. Lewis.  Served in England, France, Belgium, Germany, and is now on duty in France.  Has Campaign Ribbons with 3 Bronze Stars.

T/Sgt. Vastine Rex Tanner, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Tanner, Purson.  Wife, the former Ellen Thornton, Kerens.  Served with P-38 fighter group.  Has Presidential Citation with Two Oak Clusters, Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Ribbon and African, European, Meddle Eastern Theater Ribbon with 7 Campaign Stars.

Pfc. Geral E. Tanner, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Tanner, Purdon.  Attended school at Pickett.  Entered the Army in 1940, training at Camp Bowie, Camp Blanding and Camp Edwards, Mass.  Served in Africa, Italy, France and is now in Germany.  Has 6 Bronze Stars.
