Pvt. Prentice A. Stroder, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. R. Stroder, Frost, graduate from Frost High School attended N.T.A.C. Entered the Army, 1945, trained at Camp Hood, Now on Oahu Island.

Sgt. Otto Stroud, son of Mrs. Emma Stroud, Ft. Worth, husband of the former Miss Naoma Robertson, attended Dawson Schools.  Entered service, 1940, trained with Army at Ft. Sam Houston, Camp McCoy and various other camps in U.S.  Has served in Ireland, England, Belgium and France, now on duty in Germany.
STRUM, JAMES E.
Sgt. James E. Strum, son of J. E. Strum, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1941, trained with Air Corps at Dallas, Midland and in South Dakota.  Now on duty in Midland.
STUBBS, RONALD F.
S 1/C Ronald F. Stubbs, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Stubbs, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered the Navy, 1944, trained in San Diego, where he is now stationed.
STUBBS, JOHN W.
Pvt. John W. Stubbs, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Stubbs, attended Zion's Rest School.  Entered service, 1942, trained at Camp Barkley.  Has Honorable Discharge.

Pfc. Robert Glenn Stucker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan Stucker, Powell, graduate of Powell, attended Univ. of Texas.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Army Service Forces at Camp Wolters.  Now on duty at Camp Gruber, Okla.
STUTTS, WESLEY W.
Sgt. Wesley W. Stutts, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Stutts, Kerens, attended Rural Shade School.  Entered Army F.A. Sept., 1940, trained at Camp Bowie and Camp Edwards, Mass.  Has served in N. African-E.T.O., Honorably discharged June 1945.  Has EAME Medal with 5 Bronze Stars, 1 Bronze Arrowhead, A.D. Ser. Medal, and Good Conduct.
STUTTS, MARVIN O.
Pvt. Marvin O. Stutts, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Stutts, Kerens, attended Rural Shade School.  Entered Army Feb, 1944, trained at Ft. McClellan Ala., Ft. Benning, Ga.  Served in E.T.O. Campaigns Wald, Australia, where now on duty.  Has Bronze Star Presidential Citation, Purple Heart, wounded in Belgium, Jan, 1944.

S 1/C E. D. Sugart, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Sugart, Corsicana.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Navy at Great Lakes.  Has served in South Pacific, killed in action, Feb. 17, 1945, aboard the Pensacola at Iwo Jima.
SULLIVAN, ACIE
T/Sgt. Acie Sullivan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Sullivan, Kernes, Tex., husband of the former Miss Myrtle Casebolt, graduated from Kerens High School, Tyler College, attended Univ. of Texas.  Enlisted Mariens 1942, trained U.S.N.T.S., San Diego Cal., as radar operator.  Has served in S. Pacific, now on duty at Cherry Point, N.C.

Pvt. Billy E. Sullivan, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Sullivan.  Attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1945, training in the Army at Camp Wolters where he is now on duty.

Pvt. J. D. Summa, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Fetty, Angus.  Graduate of Richland Schools.  Entered the Army in Jan., 1945, training at Camp Wolters.  Served at Hawaii and is now on duty in the South Pacific.
SUMMERALL, VOLLIE W.
Sgt. Vollie W. Summerall, son of Mr. and Mrs. V. L. Summerall, wife the former Gertrude Humphries.  Attended Corsicana High School.  Entered the Air Corps in 1942, training at Majors Field, and Eagle Pass Army Air Field.  Now on duty in Manila.

Sgt. Grady L. Summers, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Summers, Kerens.  Husband of former Lillian Minor.  Graduated from Kerens High School.  Entered the Army Dec., 1943, training at Camp Wolters, Ft. Lewis.  Served in ETO Campaigns.  Now on duty in France.
SUMMERS, HAROLD C.
CY Harold C. Summers, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Summers.  Attended Frost High School.  Entered service, 1941, training in the Navy Submarine Group at Pearl Harbor.  Served in Pacific Area and is now on duty at General Hospital, San Francisco.  Has Presidential Unit Citation, five Battle Stars and Submarine Bar.
