S 3/C Winfred W. Steward, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Steward, husband of the former Joyce Harris, attended Cayuga Schools.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Navy at Beeville, Texas.  Corpus Christi, and Norfolk.  Now on duty at Panama.

S 1/C Lois G. Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Stewart, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Navy at San Diego.  Now on duty in South Pacific.
STEWART, ROY B.
Pfc. Roy B. Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Stewart, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service 1942, trained with Army Air Corps at Waco.  Has served in New Guinea, Philippines, where now on duty.

Pvt. Ruth B. Stingari, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cottongame, Frost, attended Dawson High SChool.  Entered the WAC in 1944, received training at Ft. Oglethorp, Ga.  Now on duty at La Junta, Colo.
STOCKARD, CHARLES FRANK
S/Sgt. Charles Frank Stockard, son of J. F. Stockard, Purdon, graduate of Purdon School.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Air Corps at Avon Park, Fla.  Flew 76 missions over Germany, now stationed at Lake Charles, La.
STOCKARD, CHARLES F.
S/Sgt. Charles F. Stockard, son of Jim Stockard, graduate of Purdon High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with the 9th Air Corps at Avon Park Bombing Range, Fla.  Made 76 missions over German held territory as tail gunner on a B-26.  Has D.F.C. and Air Medal.
STOCKTON, WILLIAM N.
Capt. William N. Stockton, son of Mr. and Mrs. P.N. Stockton, Kerens, husband of the former Miss Frances Van Hoomissen, graduate of Kerens High School and A. & M. College. Reserve Officer, called to Army Eng. Nov., 1940, trained at Ft. Logan, Colo., Vancouver, Wash. Has served in Canada, Alaska Aleutians Is.., now on duty at Ft. Pierce, Florida. Has overseas Ribbons and other Honors.
STOCKTON, ZACK
Capt. Zack Stockton, son of Mr. and Mrs. P.M. Stockton, Kerens, graduate from Kerens High School and trained at Camp Bowie, OCS, Ft. Sill, Camp Polk, La. Has served in E.T.O., now on duty at Muenchberg, Germany. Has overseas Ribbons and Bronze Stars.

Pfc William G. Stokes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Stokes, husband of the former Miss Beth Hendon, Richland, graduate of Richland High School, attended West minister and S.H.S.T.C. Entered service, 1943, trained with Infantry at Camp Maxey, Keesler Field, Univ. of Alabama, and Camp Shelby. Has served in France, and Germany, now on duty in Australia. Has Combat Infantry Badge, E.T.O. Ribbon with two stars.

Pvt. Curtis M. Stokes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kyle H. Stokes, Emhouse, husband of the former Ethelyn Bonner, graduate Emhouse High School. Entered service 1945, trained with Infantry at Camp Hood. Has served in the Philippines, where now on duty.

S/Sgt. James E. Stokes, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.S. Stokes, Corsicana. ife, the former Emalily Burgess. Attended Corsicana High School. Entered service, 1942 training with the Army at Camp Barkley. Served in England, France, Germany and Czechoslovakia. Wounded in 1944 at Mozelle River. Now on duty at Shrinefort, Germany. Has Purple Heart, Bronze Star.

S 1/C Shelby Stone, Jr., son of Mrs. S. H. Stone, Corsicana.  Attended Allen Academy, Bryan.  Entered service, 1943, training with Merchant marines at St. Petersburg, Fla.  Served in South Pacific and in Australia.  Now in Cuba.  Has Good Conduct Medal and Service Ribbons.

Pvt. Walter E. Story, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Story.  Wife, the former Irene Flossie Ficklin.  Attended Buffalo Schools.  Entered service, 1944.  Trained with the Army at Camp Hood and Ft. Ord.  Now on duty in Philippines.

Pfc. John R. Story, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Story.  Wife, the former Ann Flucker.  Attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service 1943, training with the Army at Ft. Sill, Camp McCoy.  Served in England, France, Belgium, and is now in Germany.  Has Good Conduct Medal.

T/5 Roy E. Story, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Story.  Wife, the former Beatrice Knepp.  Attended Powell Schools.  Entered service 1941, training in the Army at Camp Polk, La., Calif., West Virginia, Indiantown Gap.  Served in England, France, Belgium and is now on duty in Germany.  Has 5 Battle Stars.
STOUGH, WILLIAM L.
Sgt. William L. Stough, son of Mr. and Mrs W.M. Stough, graduate of Blooming Grove Schools and attended NTAC. Entered service 1941, training with 141st Infantry, 36th Division at Camp Bowie, Camp Blanding, Camp Edwards. Served in Africa, Italy, France, Germany, Austria. Discharged 1945. Received Pre-Pearl Harbor Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Inf. Badge, 7 major Battle Stars.

Served in Pearl Harbor, Philippines, Guam, Guadalcanal, Saipan, Palliu, Iwo Jima, Okinawa. Has Pre-Pearl Harbor Ribbon, Asiatic, Pacific Ribbon, European, African Ribbon, Philippine Liberation, Good Conduct, Unit Citation, American Theater, 12 Battle Stars. Now on U.S.S. Cincinnes.

STRINGER, GLYNN T.
Cpl. Glynn T. Stringer, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Stringer.  Attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service 1942, training with the Air Corps at Salt Lake City, Spokane, Rapid City.  Served in England, France, Russia, Scotland, Germany with 8th Air Force in England.  Has 4 Battle Stars, Presidential Citation, Good Conduct Medal.
