TUCKER, DAVID O.
S/Sgt. David O. Tucker, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Tucker, Burdon, husband of the former Miss Mollie Jo Hollingsworth, graduate of Blooming Grove Schools.  Entered service, 1945, trained with Air Corps at Harlington, Sheppard Field, and Pampa, Fla.  Has completed 47 missions in Africa, Sardinia and Italy, now on duty at Lake Charles, La.  Has Medal of Honor, and 2 Oak Leaf Clusters.

S 1/C Ross Tucker, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Tucker, Purdon, attended Blooming Grove School.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Navy at San Diego.  Now on duty in South Pacific.  Has 6 Battle Stars and Presidential Citation.
TUCKER, JEWELL C.
Sgt. Jewell C. Tucker, son of Mrs. D. D. Tucker, Purdon, husband of the former Miss Loraine Waters, graduate of Blooming Grove School.  Entered service, 1941, trained with Army at Camp Wolters, and Ft. Bliss.  Has served in Bermuda Islands for 20 months, now on duty in Pacific.

S 1/C Alvis D. Tucker, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Tucker of Corsicana, graduated from Corsicana High School.  Entered the Navy, 1944, trained at San Diego and took Amphibious Training at Coronado, Calif.  Has served in the Okinawa Invasion, at Iwo Jima, and in the Philippines, now on duty in the South Pacific.

F 2/C Albert T. Tucker, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. I. Tucker, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Mabel Rogers, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered the Navy, 1943, trained at Corpus Christi, now on duty at Norfolk, Va.

Sgt. William H. Tucker, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Tucker of Corsicana, attended the Corbet School.  Entered Army 1942, trained at Camp Stoneman, California.  Has served in England, France, Belgium and Germany, where now on duty.

Cpl. William W. Tucker, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Tucker, Houston, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Army at Camp Crowder, Pasadena, California, Camp Hood, Akron, Ohio and El Cayon, California.  Now on duty at Fort Jackson, S.C.

Bliss.  Served in England, France, Belgium and Germany.  Now on duty in Germany.  Has Good Conduct Medal.

Pfc. Clyde A. Turner, son of Mrs. W. M. Turner, Purdon.  Attended Purdon Schools.  Entered service 1940, training with the Army at Ft. Bliss and is now service in West Pacific.
TURNER, HENRY G.
Pfc. Henry G. Turner, son of Mrs. W. M. Turner, Purdon.  Wife, the former Pauline Bennight.  Attended Jester Schools.  Entered service 1942.  Trained with the Army at Camp Crowder.  Served in England, France, Belgium and is now in Germany.  Awarded the Bronze Star.

Turner, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Turner, Grosbeck, wife, the former Louise Dobbs, Kerens.  Attended Grosbeck High School.  Entered the Army, 1942, training at Camp Wolters, Texas, Camp McCoy, Wis.  Engaged in ETO Campaigns.  Now on furlough.  Awarded Expert Inf. Badge, ETO Ribbon with 5 Battle Stars.

Turner.  Graduate of Dawson and A&M College.  Trained with Air Corps, 1942, at Sheppard Field, Long Beach Syracuse, Akron, Riverside, Northfield, Laredo.  Served in South America, Africa, Italy.  Has Air Medal and Oak Leaf Cluster, Good Conduct Ribbon, ETO Ribbon and 4 Battle Stars.

S/Sgt. Hayden E. Tyner, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Tyner, Kerens.  Graduated from Kerens High School.  Entered the Air Corps, training at Fargo, N.D., Atlantic City, N.J.  Served in North Africa, Jerusalem, Iran, Russia.  Now at Abadan, Iran.

Pvt. Edward B. Tyner, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Tyner, Kerens.  Husband of former Sue Crawford.  Attended Kerens Schools.  Entered the Army Dec., 1943, training at Ft. Knox, Ky. and Ft. Meade, Md.  Served in France, Belgium, Germany.  Now on duty with 3rd Armored Unit, Kleine Armstadt, Germany.

Tyus, Kerens.  Graduated from Kernes High School.  Entered the Army Aug., 14, 1944, training at Camp Fannin, Tex.  Engaged in major battle ETO.  NOw serving in Czechoslovakia.  Awarded Purple Heart, Oak Leaf Cluster, Bronze Star, Combat Inf. Badge, Pres. Citation.  Wounded Feb. 19 at Sinzig, Ger. March 9, Pellinger, Ger.
UPCHURCH, JAMES H.
Cox. James H. Upchurch, son of Mrs. T. B. Upchurch, Corsicana.  Graduated from Kerens High School.  Entered the Navy in 1943, training at San Diego and Treasure Island, Calif.  Served at Hawaii, Honolulu and Guam where he is now on duty.  Awarded Purple Heart.
