Africa, Sicily and Italy, now on duty at Lake Charles, La.
Wears the Air Medal, Purple Heart, Good Conduct, E.T.O. with 3
Battle Stars. |

Corsicana. Graduate of Corsicana High School. Entered
the Army in 1943, training at Camp Wolters. Served in England,
Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany. Wounded near St. Lo. France
1944. Was prisoner of Germany five months. Has Inf.
Combat Badge, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Oak Leaf Cluster,
Presidential Citation and four Battle Stars.
