Cpl. Howard H. Denbow, son of Mrs. J. W. Denbow, husband of the former Miss Thelma Pattison, attended Chatfield School.  Entered service 1942, trained with Army.  Now on duty at Kearnes, Utah.

Pfc. Jim H. Deming, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Deming, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered Air Corps, 1941, trained at Chanute Field, Ill.  Went overseas, 1942, now on duty in England.

S 1/C Max M. Deming, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Deming, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered Coast Guards 1942, trained at New Orleans.  Now on duty at sea in Atlantic on Convoy Duty.
DEMING, LELAND M.
Pvt. Leland M. Deming, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Deming, Corsicana, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered Army, 1942, trained at Camp Roberts, Cal.  Has served in Aleutians Island, England, France, Belgium, and Luxembourg, where he was killed in action Feb. 15, 1945.  Has the Purple Heart.

Cpl. Edmond W. Deming, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Deming, Corsicana, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered Army, 1940, trained at Camp Bowie.  Has served in N. Africa, Sicily, Italy, wounded in action March 1944 in Italy, now on duty at Holy Hill, S.C.
DENBOW, DAVID E.
S 2/C David E. Denbow, Jr. son of Mr. David E. Denbow, Sr., Corsicana, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered Navy, 1945, trained at San Diego.  Now on duty at Naval Hospital, San Diego.

DENBOW, VERNON E.
T/5 Vernon E. Denbow, son of Mrs. G. L. Denbow, Corsicana, attended Roane School.  Mobilized with National Guard, trained with 36th Division at Camps Bowie, Blanding and Edwards.  Has served in N. Africa, Italy, France and Germany.  Has EAME Medal, 5 Bronze Stars, Bronze Arrowhead, Good Conduct, American Defense Service medal, and Marksmanship Medal.
DENBOW, LEE A.
Pfc. Lee A. Denbow, son of Mrs. G. L. Denbow and Husband of the former Miss Lucille Johnson, attended school at Roane, was employed at A. F. Smith Grocery.  Entered the Army, trained at Camp Barkley, Los Angeles, Calif., and Ft. Dix, N. J. Has the Pres. Citation, Good Conduct Badge, Purple Heart and other Honors, killed in France in 1944.

S/Sgt. Willis M. Denn, Jr., son of Willis M. Denn, Sr., Corsicana, attended Emmett Schools. Entered Army, 1940, trained at Ft. Bliss.  Has served at New Guinea, Admiralty Islands, Guam, Australia, Manila, Luzon, where on duty.
DENNIS, JAMES F.
S/C James F. Dennis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Dennis, husband of the former Miss Mary Absher, attended Long Prairie School.  Entered Navy, 1944, trained at Camp Peary, Va.  Has served in New Guinea and Philippines, now on duty on Luzon.

DERDEN, EARNEST M.
Pvt. Earnest M. Derden, son of R. M. and Mrs. Alice Derden, Purdon, attended Blooming Grove Schools.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Army at Camp Wolters, discharged 1944.

Dunlap, attended Emhouse Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Army at Camp Carson, Camp Polk and Camp Butner.  Has served in France and Germany, now on duty in France.  Has 2 Battle Stars, and Combat Infantryman Medals.

Pfc. Archie B. Derden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Derden, Corsicana, graduate of Mildred High School.  Entered the service, 1943, trained with 11th Air Borne Div. at Camp Mackall, N.C. and Camp Polk, La.  Has served in New Guinea, Luzon, Leyte and Manila.  Has Rifleman's Badge and Citation for Expert driving under difficult conditions.  Now on duty at Manila.
DERRYBERRY, JAMES H.
Pfc. James H. Derryberry, son of Mrs. Lutie Derryberry, and Mr. J. H. Derryberry of Barry, graduate of Barry High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Army at Brownwood, Camp Yound, Calif., Ft. Lewis, Washington, Ft. Jackson, S.C.  Has served as a member of 306 General Hospital Group in France.  Wears ETO Ribbon and Bronze Star, now on duty in France.

Capt. H. Oscar Derryberry, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Derryberry, Bary, husband of the former Miss Willie Faye McLeroy, graduate of Barry High School.  Entered service 1941, trained with Army at Camp Bowie, Officers Candidate School at Ft. Benning, Camp Campbell, and Camp Barkley.  Has served in France and now on duty in Germany.

DERUSHA, DURWARD L.
T/Sgt. Derward L. DeRusha, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. DeRusha, Frost, husband of the former Miss Victoria Boyad, graduate of Barry Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Army Signal Corps at Chicago and Long Island, N.Y.  Has served on Bahama Islands, Egypt, Libya, Iraq, now on duty in Egypt.  Has Unit Meritorious Service.
DESKIN, ROGER B.
Sgt. Roger B. Deskin, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Deskin, husband of the former Jewell Parker Smith, Kerens, Texas, attended Brownsboro High School.  Entered Air Corps, Sept 20, 1942, trained at Waco Army Air Field, Waco, Tex., Gulfport Field, Miss., now on duthy at L.A.A.F., Liberal, Kansas.
DESKIN, JOHN A., JR.
S 1/c John A. Deskin, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Deskin, Sr., attended Wilson School. Entered Navy January, 1944, trained at U. S. N. T. S., San Diego, Calif. Has served at Pearl Harbor on Oceanographer, now on duty in S. Pacific. Awarded Asiatic Pacific T. O. Ribbon.
