missions with 15th Air Force in Africa and Italy on B-24.
Now on duty in States. Has Air Medal, Oak Leaf Cluster and
Battle Stars.

mission over Germany Oct., 1944.

Marksmanship Medals. |

S/Sgt. R. C. Logan, son of Mrs. H. F. Logan, Waxahachie, husband
of the former Miss Marian Smith, attended Corsicana Schools.
Entered service, 1942, trained with Army at Camp Adair. Has
served on Leyte and was wounded on Okinawa, 1945, now on duty at
Okinawa. Has Combat Infantry Badge, and Purple Heart. |

JOHN M.
S 2/C John M. Long, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Long, Corsicana,
Texas, attended Corsicana Junior High School. Entered Navy,
December, 1943, trained at Corpus Christi and Norfolk, Va.
Now in Pacific area on active sea duty aboard USS Corrier
Card. Has three Battle Stars and Presidential Citation.

killed in action Feb. 3, 1943. Received Purple Heart.
