Pvt. Dan S. Linch, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. S. Linch, graduate of Dawson Schools.  Trained in the Marines, Parris Island, S.C. Camp LeJeune, N.C., Camp Pendleton, Calif.  Now on duty at Okinawa.

LIVINGSTON, ELLIOTT
T/5 Elliott Livingston, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Livingston, Wortham.  Wife the former Virginia Parker.  Attended Currie Schools.  Entered the Army, 1944.  Trained with the Army at Camp Wolters, Camp White, North Ft. Lewis.  Now on duty in North Ft. Lewis.

Worth and Tuscon.  Piloted 15 missions with 15th Air Force in Africa and Italy on B-24.  Now on duty in States.  Has Air Medal, Oak Leaf Cluster and Battle Stars.

Loftis, Purdon.  Graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1943, training in the Army Air Corps at Keesler Field, Buckley Field, Alexandria Field.  Served in England with 8th Air Force as Tail gunner on B-17.  Killed in action on 3rd mission over Germany Oct., 1944.

Pfc. Bobby R. Locklar, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Locklar, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at Waco, AAF and in Smyrna, Tenn.  Sent overseas, 1945, served as M.P. in Naples, Italy.  Has Good Conduct and Marksmanship Medals.
LOGAN, R. C.
S/Sgt. R. C. Logan, son of Mrs. H. F. Logan, Waxahachie, husband of the former Miss Marian Smith, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Army at Camp Adair.  Has served on Leyte and was wounded on Okinawa, 1945, now on duty at Okinawa.  Has Combat Infantry Badge, and Purple Heart.
LONG, JOHN M.
S 2/C John M. Long, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Long, Corsicana, Texas, attended Corsicana Junior High School.  Entered Navy, December, 1943, trained at Corpus Christi and Norfolk, Va.  Now in Pacific area on active sea duty aboard USS Corrier Card.  Has three Battle Stars and Presidential Citation.

S 1/C Terry T. Long, son of Mrs. M. B. Hair, attended State Home School.  Entered service, 1937, trained with Navy at San Diego.  Has served in Philippines and in Hawaiian Islands, now on duty in South Pacific.
LONG, ERNEST R.
Cpl. Ernest R. Long, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Long, husband of the former Miss Miriam Maddox, attended school in Van Zandt County.   Entered service, 1940, trained with Quartermaster Corps of Army at March Field.  Has served in Alaska for three years, now on duty in Louisiana.

LONG, WILLIAM L.
Pvt. William L. Long, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Long of Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Floriene Richards, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Trained with the Air Corps at Las Vegas, New Mexico, Haulton, Maine, Mass., and Camp Myles Standish, killed in action Feb. 3, 1943.  Received Purple Heart.
