COX Herschel E. Cooper, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Cooper, Barry.  Wife is the former Kathleen Meyers.  Graduate of Barry High School.  Entered service  1942, training at San Francisco, and Farragut, Idaho.  Served in South America, Africa, France, Northern Island, Scotland, England, Mediterranean Sea.  Has Bronze Star, ETO Ribbon.  Now on duty in Pennsylvania.
COOPER, WILLIE C.
T/Sgt. Willie C. Cooper, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cooper, Dallas, Wife is the former Meagaret Coffey.  Attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service 1941, training with Air Corps at Goodfellow Field, San Angelo.  Served in Australia, New Guinea and Netherland East Indies, where he is now on duty.

Cpl. Troy C. Cooper, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Cooper, Dawson.  Graduate of Dawson High School.  Entered service 1942, training with Air Corps at Gulfport, Miss. Now on duty at Waco Army Air Field.  Wears Good Conduct Ribbon
COOPER, L. T.
S 1/C L. T. Cooper, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. O Cooper, Sr., was graduated from Kerens High School.  Entered the Navy May, 1944, training at Camp Wallace, Tex., U.S.N.T.S., San Diego.  Served on Hawaii and on Guam, where he was attached to Seabees.  A patient in Naval Hospitals, Norman, Okla., and San Diego, Calif.
COPELAND, WILLIAM CHAS.
T/5 William Chas. Copeland, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Copeland, Purdon.  Graduate of Dawson High School.  entered the Army 1942, training at Camp Wallace and Camp Swift.  Served in France where he is now on duty.  Has Good Conduct Ribbon and Star.
CORLEY, W. ELDON
Pfc. W. Eldon Corley, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L.. Corley, husband of former Jackie Smith.  Attended Kilgore Schools.  Entered the Army 1941, training at Ft. Sill Oklahoma.  Served in England, France, Holland, Belgium, and Germany.  Killed in action Feb. 6, 1945.

Sgt. Tommy D. Cosby, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. M. Cosby,.  Attended Emmett Schools.  Entered the Air Corps 1942, training at Waco Army Air Field and Westover Field.  Now on duty in Italy.
COSSEY, GEORGE R.
S/Sgt. George R. Cossey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Cossey, attended Rurall Shade School.  Mobilized with Natl. Guard Nov., 1940, transferred to Air Corps. Received training at Lemoor F.S., Lemoor, Calif., Jefferson, Mo.  Now on duty at R.A.A.F., Roswell, New Mexico.  Awarded Good Conduct Medal.
COSTLOW, MELVIN O.
Pvt. Melvin O. Costlow, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Costlow.  Wife is the former Marceline McCafferty.  Graduate of Corsicana Schools.  Entered the Army Signal Corps 1942, training at Camp Crowder.  Served in Miami, Fla.  Wounded in Saipan, 1944.  Was discharged at Gen. Hospital, El Paso, 1945.
COSTLOW, ERNEST V.
Cpl. Ernest V. Costlow, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Costlow, and husband of the former Ruth Lacy, attended Eustace Schools and Ft. Worth Business College.  entered service 1942, serving at Camp Barkley with Med. Corps until discharged 1943.

COSTLOW, ELDRED L.
Pvt. Eldred L. Costlow, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Costlow, Corsicana, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1940, trained with 36th Division.  Has served on Pearl Harbor for some time before being reported missing in the fall of Java, now a Japanese Prisoner.

Pfc. Charles W. Cotten, son of Mr. Henry B. Cotten, Corsicana. Entered Army Nov., 1944, trained at Camp Hood. Has served in Philippines and now on duty at Luzon.

Pfc. Dorsey A. Cotten, son of Henry B. Cotten, Corsicana, attended Rice Public Schools. Entered Air Corps in 1943, trained at Pueblo, Colorado. Now on duty at England.

Pvt. Charles Cottongame Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cottongame, Frost, husband of the former Miss Lucille Rackley, Ennis, graduated from Dawson High School. Entered the Army in 1945, now on duty training at Camp Hood.
COULSON, THOMAS H.
Sgt. Thomas H. Coulson, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Coulson, formerly of Rice, husband of the former Miss Georgia Jacobs, graduate of Rice High School.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Air Corps at Sheppard Field and Walker Field Kansas.  Now on duty with the 20th AAF Superfortresses in the Marianas Islands.
COULSON, BILLY E.
Pvt. Billy E. Coulson, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Coulson, formerly of Rice, graduate of Rice High School.  Entered service Jan., 1945, trained at Camp Hood.  Now en route to Pacific.
COULSON, CLARENCE F.
Cpl. Clarence F. Coulson, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Coulson, formerly of Rice, graduate of Rice High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at Kessler Field, Miss., Buckley, Colorado.  Has served in England, now on furlough in States.
COWAN, KERR B.
Capt. Kerr B. Cowan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kerr B. Cowan, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Iris Sheppard, graduate of Corsicana High School, attended New York University and Baylor.  Entered service, 1942.  Trained with Air Transport Command at Luke Field, Arizona and Miami Beach, Fla.  Now on duty in India, has Presidential Citation.

Pfc. Alvis C. Cox, son of Mr. J. M. Cox, husband of the former Miss Lassie King, attended Pursley Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at Miami Beach, Fla.  Now on duty at Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
