Entered the Air Corps in 1942, trained at Air Corps Ground School at
Camp Wolters, Colorado and Mississippi. Instructed 19 months.
Now somewhere in Philippines. Wears Theater Ribbon.

Lt. Bennie E. Siler, son of Mrs. Florence Siler, husband of the
former Miss Sally Tiebel, attended Corsicana High School.
Entered the Air Corps in 1943, trained at Sheppard Field and other
states. Stationed in the Philippines. His family was
awarded the Purple Heart when he was killed on March 28, 1945.

husband of the former Miss Mary R. Price, graduated from Kerens High
School, Weatherford Jr. College and attended U. of Texas.
Entered the Air Corps in 1942 trained at Kelly Field 18 missions
Flying Fortress, spent 2 yrs., 12 days in German Prison Camp.
Temporarily unassigned. Awarded Air Medal with 2 Clusters, 2
battle stars, Purple Heart. Wounded twice March, 1943, France

months before receiving medical discharge, August 1944.
