WEEKS, GLYN C.
Cox's Glyn C. Weeks, son of Mrs. A. L. Weeks, Corsicana, graduate of Richland High School.  Entered Coast Guard in 1941, was on duty on the Florida Coast until going overseas.  Has served in the Pacific, where he is now on duty at a battle station aboard a Coast Guard LCI, this landing craft served an important role in the European Invasions.

Pfc. Charlie E. Weems, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Weems, husband of the former Miss Gladys Evelyn Hughes, Corsicana.  Entered the Army in 1942, trained at Camp Barkley.  Has served in England and France, killed in action in France, June 12, 1944.  Has the Good Conduct Medal and Purple Heart.

Warren, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Camp Ritchie.  Has served in Africa, Italy, France and Germany, wounded at Cisternia, Italy, 1944.  Received Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Infantry Combat Badge, Arrowhead, 5 Campaign Stars.
WELCH, JOE R.
S 2/C Joe R. Welch, son of Mrs. George Frederick, Blooming Grove, husband of the former Miss Helen Oreada Littlejohn.  Entered the Navy, 1944, trained at San Diego, Calif.  Has served in the Hawaiian Islands, Pearl Harbor, Saipan, and Guam.  Has service Ribbon and 2 Combat Stars.  Received Honoraby Discharge in May, 1945.

WELLS, WELDON E.
Pfc. Weldon E. Wells, son of Irmadine Wells, attended school at Dawson.  Entered the Anti-Aircraft in 1943, trained at Camp Hulen and Camp Livingston.  Has served in England, France, Belgium, and now on duty in Germany.  Has five Battle Stars.
WELLS, RAYMON D.
Cpl. Raymond D. Wells, son of Mrs. Irmadine Wells, husband of the former Miss Janet Woodall, attended school at Dawson.  Entered the Air Corps in 1942, trained at Waco Air Field, Scott Field, Ill.  Will Rogers Field Okla., Ft. Myers, Fla.  Has served in North Africa and Asia, now on duty in the Persian Gulf.
WESTBROOK, C. GLADE
SC 1/C C. Glade Westbrook, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Westbrook, Kerens, graduate of Kerens High School. Enlisted in the Naval Reserve, 1942, trained at U.S. Naval Training Station, San Diego, California, and Treasure Island, California. Served in Australia, New Guinea, and other Islands, now on duty with Pacific Fleet.
