Attended truck driving school and auto mechanic school. Also served n Italy, France and Switzerland. Notes:

Graduate of Hubbard High School and attended Baylor University. Enlisted in the U.S. Naval Reserve April 19, 1944. Served in Asiatic area. Awarded the Victory Medal, Purple Heart and Certificate. Gave his life on Feb. 19, 1945, at Iwo Jima. Interred on Iwo Jima, later interred at Honolulu, Hawaii. KILLED IN ACTION |
