S/Sgt. Cecil I. Parker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Parker, Corsicana, graduated from Powell High School and attended A. & M. College.  Entered the Army Oct, 1943, training at Ft. Riley, Kan., Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo.  Served in France and is now on duty in Germany.  Awarded Combat Inf. Badge.
PARKER, GERALD W.
Sgt. Gerald W. Parker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Parker, wife is the former Reba Land of Kerens.  Graduated from Powell High School and Texas A. & M.  Entered the Army Oct., 1943, training at Camp Barkley, Camp Rucker, Ala., Denver Colo.  Served in France and is now on duty at Germany.  Awarded major battle star.

Combat Medal and engaged in Campaigns on New Guinea, Leyte, Luzon, and Mindanao.  Serving with 19th Inf., 24th Div. of Eighth Army.

1st Lt. J. Nick Parrish, son of Mrs. Mettie Parrish, Trained with Army Air Corps, 1942, at Santa Anna, Ontario and Merced, Calif., Yuma, Arizona, where commissioned. Piloted B-26 Martin Marauder via South America, Liberia, Africa, England, France, Holland. Now flying C-47 transport in Belgium. Has Air Medal and Five Oak Leaf Clusters.
