Sgt. Henry W. Scoggins, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Scoggins, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service in 1942, and now serving with 9th Army in the occupation of Germany.

Pfc. James M. Scoggins, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Scoggins.  Graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service in 1943.  Wounded in Italy Oct., 1944.  Returned to the States in July, 1945, after being in a hospital in Italy.  Now in Brooks Gen. Convalescent Hospital, Ft. Sam Houston.

SCROGGINS, KENNETH C.
S/Sgt. Kenneth C. Scroggins, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Scroggins, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Wife is the former Earl Dean Smitherman. Entered service, 1943, training at Yuma and Tucson, Ariz.  Completed 30 missions over German territory.  Crashed over Austria and was returned from Yugo.  Partisans.  Now in Shreveport, La.  Has ETO Ribbon with 4 Battle Stars, Air Medal and Cluster, Unit Citation, Wings.

Pfc. Lynn C. Scruggs, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Scruggs, Corsicana, graduate of Bryan High School.  Entered the Army in 1942, training at Camp Wallace, Ft. Bliss, and Penn.  Served in North Africa, Sardinia, and Corsica.  Now on duty in France.

Pfc. Halley D. Scruggs, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Scruggs, wife is the former Gloria Burke, Graduated from Navarro High School.  Entered the Air Corps Feb., 1943, training at Hunter Field, Ga., Columbia Army Air Base, South Carolina and other Army Air Fields.  Served in England, France and Germany.  Is now stationed in Germany.

Pvt. Marvin S. Seabolt, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. M. S. Seabolt, Sr., of Kerens, graduated from Kerens High School.  Entered the Army June 25, 1945 and took basic training at Ft. Sam Houston.  Is now on duty at Camp Wolters, Tex.
 
SEALS, AUBREY L.
Sgt. Aubrey L. Seale, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe M. Seale, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service 1942, training in Air Corps at Bakersfield, Calif.  Is now on duty in Brazil.

S/Sgt. Forrest H. Sears, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sears, Carthage.  Graduate of Emhouse School.  Entered service 1940, training in the Marines at Camp Elliot, San Diego and Norman, Okla.  Served in New Hebrides, Marshall Islands.  Now on duty in Okinawa.

SELMAN, JAMES C.
S 1/C James (Pete) Selman, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Selman, formerly of Kerens, graduated from Kerens High School.  Entered the Navy Aug., 1944, training in U.S.N.T.S., San Diego.  Assigned to Destroyer U.S.S. Murray which has engaged in 12 major battles, shot down 9 Jap Aircraft, aided in raid on Wake Island and Bougainville, and battled 150 Jap Planes with no damage to U.S. task forces.  Now on duty in Pacific Combat Zone.

Lt. (jg) Dan N. Sharpley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Sharpley, Corsicana, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1939, trained with Navy and was attached to the Washington Office of Naval Intelligence.  Has served in Brazil, now on duty in Washington.
